I read the book, The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. The book is about this rebellious girl named Ronnie Miller, who falls in love with Will Blakelee.
She is happy until she finds out her father is slowly dying. Will she survive?
Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller hates her parents. Her mother doesn't understand her. Her father, Steve, an ex-pianist at Juliard, left Ronnie, her mom, and her younger brother Jonah. When her mother says its time to visit her father, Ronnie decides to be really mean. But her father just takes it. (pushover)Ronnie goes to this volleyball tournament, where she FINALLY meets Will (Along with Blaz who ends up getting her arrested, and Marcus, the stalker) cause he spillls a soda on her. (accidentally) So, then her dad, tells her that there are Loggerhead turtles living in eggs in the sand. She then goes into mother mode, and tries to save the turtles by calling the aquarium. The next day the aquarium sends Will. Ronnie and him go on numerous dates. Then this snot tries to split them up. Ronnie's dad ends up having cancer, and starts to die. When he finally does, Ronnie and Will are still togetter.
I HATED THE LAST SONG! The book was terribly stereotyped. The book was a dissapointment. I hate how everyone's like ohh its so cute. No it isn't. I chose to read it because i figured 'well maybe it better than Dear John'. My eyes were vomitting. Thats how bad it was. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. I chose it cause, well i already told you why.
