A Walk To Remember is a romance. This book is written by Nicolas Sparks. It is about a boy that was in a cool kid group until Jamie Sullivan turns his life aroung by asking him to be in the Winter Play. The two of the teenagers fall in love, until the truth is revieled!

Landon Carter is a boy that has a heart but does not want to let his friends see him with Jamie Sullivan. Jamie's father is a priest. He is very strict. His wife passed away when she gave birth to Jamie. He wrote a play about his relationship of him and his wife. In the play, Jamie played the angel. She wore an beautiful white dress, with her hair down. Usually Jamie wore an ugly sweater and a plaid skirt, with her hair up in a bun. Landon was the other main charator, Tommy Thorton. Jamie helps out alot and everyone in the little town knows her. She volenteers at an orphanage. For Christmas she wants to do something special for the kids. She put around jars and cans to collect money. All of the "cool kids" put paper clips and slugs in the jars for fun. But in the end Jamie makes over $200. For Christmas Landon gets her a new sweater. Jamie gives him her mothers Bible. Jamie and Landon go on their first date, with her fathers permision of corse. On the date, Jamie tells Landon heartbreaking news. Jamie has a cancer called Leukemia. She knew for a couple of months but was too afraid to tell Landon. Every day her and Landon read the Bible. One day Landon askes her "do you love me?" And when she says yes I do, he askes her to marry him. Four months later, Jamie passes away=(.

I loved this book. It had a good story lline, but a sad ending. I like how i could develope the charecters in my mind. I did not like how it ended. i would have liked to know moe about how Landon's life was after her passing. I would recomend this to teens and older. I rate it about a 9 out of 10.
