The Child Called " It "

This book is a heart breaking story about " one kid's courage to survive " . It is written by David J. Pelzer . The other of this story is the boy that is the main character . It is the first book out of three . His courage to survive is AMAZING !!!!!

David has one mom , one dad , and three brothers . He is fighting against his mom to live . She puts him in deadly situation's throw the whole story. This is the first book about David's life but their are two more to read " The Lost Boy " and " The Man Called Dave " .

I liked how David never gave up and kept on trying to stay alive . Also , I liked that throw out the whole story he was still trying to make things better . But , I didn't like how his mom is so mean to him . She should not starvive a kid to that point . I recommened this book for people 10 and up . I recommened this book to people that like to read about sad stories and that can handle it .
