Monster House

The name of this book is "Monster House" by Tom Hanks. This book is about a kid named D.J and he lives across the street from this mean old man. D.J and his friends try to help the neighborhood before the kids get eaten by the old mans monster house. I chose this book because I like to read about mysterious books and monster houses. D.J has a neighbor across the street who is very mean and some people go missing. That's when D.J and his friends try to investigate what's going on and find out their in for a real ride. He also discovers something about his neighbor that nobody else would expect. What I liked about this book is that I love monster books and that there mysterious. I didn't like how the kids had to camp out at D.J's house over night and how they had to spy on the neighbor. Anybody can read this book. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
