Everest Book One: The Contest by: Gordon Korman

The book I read was Everest The contest. It was written by Gordon Korman. It is about a group a teens that are competing to be on the team to climb Mt. Everest. I chose this book because I thought it would be a good book.
A guy named Cicero is the leader who picks The kids who are the best trained mostly ready for th mountain and have enough body weight to withstand a climb like that. Every day at the camp the teens practice their climbing skills to show off to Cicero.Cicero also takes x-rays of their lungs to see they in good shape, even a really good climber could be cut because of his lung health.
Two things I liked about this book is there is adventure and very good suspense.Two things I didn't like about this book is it is very slow and boring to read. I recommend this book to kids between the ages of 10-14. I would not reccomend this book to a friend.I would recommend this book winter sports fans.
