Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer

The book I read was Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer by John Grisham. This book is about a kid named Theodore who has a dream of being a big person in the judicial system. I chose this book because I like to read mystery books! This book is 263 pages long

Theodore has always wanted to be a big judge and to be able to try someone that has commited a big crime! Both his parents, Mrs.Boone and Mr.Boone are lawyors. Mrs.Boone is a devorce lawyor and Mr.Boone is a real estate lawyor. Theodore knows every person in the courthouse and in the police force! Every clerk, attendent, judge, lawyor in the town. While most crimes in Strattenburg are minor the one thats about to happen is not. Mr.Duffys wife was killed in her house while getting ready to go to lunch with her sister. Mr.Duffy was later accused of murdering his wife with the motive of her $1,000,000 life insurance police! He was put on trial later and had the trial in his favor. The prosecution had a very week case because they had no solid proof or eye witness. Just before the trial ended Theodore was introduced to a key witness that no one knew about. He saw "Mr.Duffy" enter the house and put on a second glove and then left about 10 minutes! Theodore wanted to tell but...

One thing that i liked about this book is that it was very suspenseful at certain times and that it made you want to keep reading it! Another part i liked about this book it that it held a lot of mystery in it! One thing that i disliked about it though was that the ending was not what i had expected. Another thing i didn't like about it is that i felt that there should of been a second book but there isn't! I think that this book would be appropriate for the age group of 11 and up! If you like mystery and suspenseful books that i suggest that you read Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer. I would suggest this to any of my friends!

Justin Bieber- First Steps 2 Forever: My Story

The book I read is Justin Bieber-First Steps 2 Forever: My story by Justin Bieber. The book is about how Justin became who he is today and how his whole music career got started. I chose this book because I love Justin Bieber and I think his story is very inspirational on how he followed his dreams and came true because he believe in himself.

In this book Justin Bieber wanted a music career but he was just a small town boy from Canada. To start to achieve his goal he performed in town music events and played his guitar and sang on the streets in front of a theater. His mom then posted videos from music events on YouTube so family and friends could watch his performances. Scooter Braun (Justin's manager now) saw the videos on YouTube and wanted to get Justin a career in the music business.

Two things I likes about the book were how Justin followed his dreams no matter what came his way. Another things I liked is how Justin stays true to his friends and family even when he is away on tour. There is nothing I don't like about this book. Any age group is appropriate for this book, but I would recommend this book to mostly ages between 8 and 18. I would recommend this book to a friend who likes Justin Bieber or even people who don't like Justin Bieber because after reading the book their feelings may change about him. I also would recommend this book to people who like folllowing their dreams till they come true.

Mind Blind

The book I have just finished was "Mindblind" by Jenniefer Roy. This book is Realistic fiction and about reaching a goal. I chose this book because of the little description of the book i read about it.
This book is about a kind on his quest to become a genuis or what he clasifiys as a genuis. It is a very hard for him to find a way to become a genius. Eventhough he is very smart and already finished school he won't call himself a genuis. He goes through many problems like his dad and with girls.
Two things I liked about the book is the plot and that it involes a lot of information that I would of never thought of. There was one thing I didn't like and that was it was had to follow on if he was thinking something or if it really was happening. I would recomend this to someone who wants a decent book and is a good reader.

The Bat Boy

The book i chose to read was The Bat Boy, by Mike Lupica. This book was about a boy named Brain, and he always wanted to be a bat boy for the Detroit Tigers. it is mostly about him, his mom, and the sport of baseball. I chose this book because i like, and play the sport of baseball and also think it would be cool to be a bat boy.

In this book, Brian Dudley's father Cole left his mom and him. Later on the book you will find out where he went. His father was a pitcher for the Tigers. Brain had always wanted to be a bat boy for his dad's team. After school one summer Brian sent an e-mail to the manager of the Tigers and didn't hear back. So he tried again and received an answer saying that all the bat boy slots were filled and that he could try once more the following season. So he did. Then later in the season his biggest idol
Hank ' The Bishop of Baseball' Bishop was signed back on the team Brain and Hank go through alot. But you'll have to read the book to find out the ending.

There were many ways people can like this book. One reason that I liked this book was that it told you a lot about the characters. Another reason is that it was a sporty book and was very interesting to see how the characters act certain times. But there were some things that I didn't like about the book. One thing was that it took awhile for the book to get going out of the introduction of everything. another thing that i didn't like about it very much was that it skipped to characters at times and then went back to Brian and the main point of that chapter. I would say that this book is appropriate for a reading level of 5th grade and up. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend because most of my friends are into sports. Most people who like sports would enjoy reading this book, especially the people who like baseball.

Sunday, October 30, 2011

The book I read was Charlie Higson's Silverfin. The genre of this book is action/adventure. I chose this book because I like action books where the main character has to overcome many challenges.

In this book you meet James Bond at age 13. James helps Red Kelly figure out what the ruthless Lord Hellebore is up to in his castle. Lord Hellebore's castle is in the center of Loch Silverfin high above the town of Kiethly. In the middle of the night James and Red sneak into the castle. Red however ends up injured and James must continue on by himself. Wandering through the castle James is caught by Lord Hellebore. Locked in a room, James gets help from an unexpected source. Together they try to put an end to Hellebore for good.

One thing I liked about this book was that it is the first young James Bond adventure. Second, I liked how James figures out how to escape the danger of Hellebore's castle. One thing I didn't like about this book was how mean Lord Hellebore was to his son George Hellebore. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure, mystery, and action books. This book is appropriate for people ages twelve to fourteen.

Vampire Kisses Blood Relatives 2

I finished reading the 2nd book of Vampire Kisses Blood Relatives. Author is Ellen Schreiber. The art is done by someone called Rem. Still no last name. The book is mostly about vampires, love, and family. I chose this book because i read the first one and had to read the 2nd one.

Raven and her boyfriend Alexander have found out what happen on there last date. Alexander's cousin came to their town to find some blood vials that makes half vampires full vampires. Only one problem no one knows were they are hidden. Alexander and Raven come up with a plan to make Claude (Alexander's cousin) think he found the blood vials but they are fake. Now will he fall for the plan or know it just a game?

The two things l liked about this book was the 1) how it's romantic in its own little way 2) the drawings are amazing still. There is only one thing I disliked and it was how it left you hanging at the end. The book say this book would be good for 13 and up but I say 9 and up. This book would be good for any one that like vampire books and some romance in it but, nothing like the twilight books.

Bleach Vol.6

This book is called Bleach volume 6. The genre is manga. I chose it because I'm reading the Bleach manga series. There is 189 pages in this book. This book is written by Tite Kubo.
I this volume of Bleach Ichigo and Uryu are continuing their challenge. During their challenge the biggest hollow of all hollows, Menos, comes out of the sky. No one has ever seen Menos before in person only in stories have people seen him. Also in i this volume Ichigo realizes that the world have perfectly balanced between the living and the dead, everyday life, and the Soul Society. Also Ichigo learns Soul Reapers are not merely fighting Hollows, they are charged with the grand task equalizing the balance between this life and the next.
People who read mangas and understand how to read them are the best people to read this book. Reading mangas is not like reading American comic books.I recommend this book because it is very interesting to read. The age group that should read this book is 12+.

Vampire Kisses Blood Relatives 1

I have just finised a book called Vampire Kisses Blood Relatives 1.  The arthur is Ellen Schreiber and the art is done by someone caled Rem. It dose not give us the last name for some reason. The genre of this book is manga, vampire, graphic novle, and romanice. I chose this book because I love to read mangas and I saw this book on the selfe. The title also caught my eye.

This book only so far has 3 main people; Raven, Alexander, and Becky Miller. Raven is like a gothic girl in hight school. She meets the boy (Alexander) of her dreams wich is a vampire. Becky is her best friend and knows about about Alexander being a vampire. Raven goes on a date with Alexander at the cematary. Alexander feels like something is wrong. Something was wrong.

The two things I liked about this book is 1 its not like twilight 2 the drawing are really good. I didnt not like anything. The book says that its for ages 13 and up but I say it good for ages 9 and up. I recomed this book to any one that like 2 read short smaller books.

Heist Society

I recently read the book Heist Society by Ally Carter. As you could guess from the title, this book is about a Heist(a robbery, or stealing). I decided to read this book because the cover of it intrigued me!

This book is about a girl named Katarina Bishop, or nicknamed, Kat, and her friend Hale. Kat's whole family is about stealing, but recently, she has left the family business to go to a private school. Before she knows it though, she is back with her family and friends to take on the biggest challenge yet, with her father at risk, and other loved ones, Kat has to rise to the occasion to complete the ultimate heist!

What I liked about this book was that it gave me a challenge on some words, and kept me interested! There isn't anything that I didn't like about it, and I think this book could be read by the age ten and up because it wasn't graphic or anything. I would recommend this to a friend who enjoys reading about mysteries, because you had to inference a lot in this book, to be able to follow along, and that's another thing I liked about it!

UNWIND

unwind was writen by Neal Shuserman, this book is about a boy named Lev, he was going to be tithed.(killed for other peoples uses)but there was an acident.the story is told from other peoples viues in the book.it is sometims hard to understand but if yoy read it you will love it.anywas lev, though he was being tithed but its just tht a boy named conner, tryed to save him,but lev dident whant to be saved untill,he knew what he was dealin whith.i chose this book because i thought it would be about something unaturail, but it was not about that atall. my mom tells me not to read boobsby its cover but im just that kind of girl.
conner is an unwind(an undwind is a girl or a boy and when they turn 16, or less they are seant to aplace where they are killd so the parents dont have to deail whith them. and sometimes they whant them in the end but they still have to give them away because they singed a pice of paper)who is running away because he knows he is going to be unwound, he whants his "true love" to come whith him but in the moment of truth she was not going to be unwound so she decided that she loved life and she did not whant to leave here. so he traviled alone.he was in troble, almost evrey police car was trying to get him, he ran in to the wood whith a gril that was scared bye him, and they teamed up to get away. but they took Lev, whith them when he was tranulized bye a cop when the dart misted conner and stuned Lev. so over hiw solder they go deap in to the woods.than in the middle of the book conner heard a storked babby(a storked babby is a baby that has been drouped off at a house from its mother or father, but the people that were storked have to keep the baby and they have to raize it like it was there oun son\daghter) so he whent running for the baby, and now they have a baby on board.
two things i like about this book is 1.this book is put in exssiting ways so it makes me suprized 2.it sometimes give me the chills and put me on the eage. two things i dident like about the book is 1.sometimes the book gets some times confusing 2.another is i dident like how the auther made it other peoples vius it was so weard but i still love it so much.i would say the age group for this book would be 7 grade+ or age 12+, this book is eye caching, spooky, weard, page turner, and exciting.i wolud recommend this book to all my frinds and somepeople thatarnt my friens too!!this book is for all the people who can read alot and can understand big word and who can also like to be "on the eage".(dont fall of your seat)i think UNWIND is a great book and i think you will too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Among the Enemy

I read Among the Enemy by margret peterson haddix. This book is a bout a boy who goes on many adventures. I chose this book because I read the series and i LOVED it!
The main character, Matthias, just wants to be free. He is an illegal third child along with his friends, Percy and Alia. They have to live their life in hiding...until now. Matthias has to join up with the population police to be free. here is his adventure.
I loved all of the book ecept the parts where people die. In some books people die A LOT!!
I would say this book is for you if you like violence. I would recomend you read this book though because this is my fave series!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think most people would like this book.:)

Marine Sniper

I have just read a book called Marine Sniper. The author of this book is CharlesHenderson. This book is about a sniper in the of war in vietnam. This book includes a bloody war and tons of excitment. I chose this book because I find the vietnam war very interesting.
Hathcock was a sniper in the Vietnam war. He was graded at a sergant level. Hathcock had a precision shot and very rarely missed. When hathcock was in Vietnam he shot over 93 people that were all confirmed kills. Those deaths were a marine sniper record. The one person Hathcock was after was a female soldier who tortured any captured soldier. No one knew her name so the tracking became more complicated.
One thing I really liked about this book was the word description because it made the book very intense. The other thing is that the book gave me information on the Vietnam War itself. The age group that is appropriate is 15 years old on up because there is a lot of violence and swearing. I would recommend this book to a friend only if they liked war and violence.

Escape from Furnace: Solitary

Alex was K.O. by the rocks. When the warden found them again, he put them in solitary confindment and they worked out a system of communication. Then a kid, Simon, who got Alex and Zee to help escape, even after they discovered Donovan was becoming a Blacksuit. When they put their plan to climb out through the incinerator into action, they were caught, again.
The 2nd book's cover

Escappe from Furnace: LOCKDOWN

The 1st book's cover
The book is 1st person and in the veiw of Alex Sawyer. The other characters are Donavon, "The Skulls", Zee, The Warden, The Blacksuits, The Wheezers, The Rats, Simon, (I'll add more when I remember them.) The plotline is that Alex is framed by Furnace guards (A.K.A. blacksuits) for murduring his best friend. He was thrown in Furnace for it, and thats when all **** broke loose. There were these flayed dogs, the wheezers, the blacksuits, and the warden when he first arrived in Furnace.
When Alex arrived, he ALSO met Donovan and Zee, whom together tried escaping. Right in the middle of their plan to smuggle now-explosive gloves into the mining room to blow a hole leading to a river he'd found, They gained the help of another ptisoner, whom was killed when they jumped down to the river, and an actual criminal who led the skulls; one of the gangs who took took lives in the summer of slaughter. When they fell to the river,

One Piece By: Eiichiro Oda

The book "One Piece"is about a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy. He is trying to become the greatest pirate who ever sailed the Seven Seas.

He ate the Devil Fruit, so, he got Super Rubber powers, or the power of "Gum Gum". He can stretch up to 72 meters. His own enemy is Captain Buggy the Clown, who is looking for the same thing as Luffy... the One Piece. Luffy wants to get the One Piece and a pirate crew but C aptain Buggy the Clown wants to prevent anyone from getting it 'cause he wants it all for himself. So, Luffy starts a crew. The first member was: Nami, a theif who specialises in robbing every pirate she sees. She HATES pirates!! His second member is: Roronoa Zolo, a master of three sword fighting. Together they sail off to find the One Piece, together.

Two things I liked about the book "One Peice" vol. #3, is that it has a few characters that are in the whole story, so you dont have to remember lots of names. The other thing I liked was that it didnt use big words that take time to understand. A thing I didnt like about the book was the sound effects like "Awup" when people slide up their glasses, or "Wa---DA---Duhm" when people are staring at eachother intently.

One Piece by Eiichiro Oda vol. #3

I would rate this book/Series:8-9.5

Million Dollar Throw

I lately finished the book called "The Million Dollar Throw" by Mike Lupica. the books topic is about football and life. I honestly chose the book because of the cover.
The book is mainly about a star football player (Brady-his nickname) who's seeing a tone of people including himself struggling with things (money). And if you want to know how he solves or trys to solve his issue look at the cove. Even though some things are realated to the PATRIOTS it's still a good book.
Two things I liked a bout this book is that its has football in it and there are a couple of games in it and second how Brady trys to help everyone. I'd recomend it to football fans and it was a pretty easy to read book.

What will happen next you ask? Well read the book to find out, what did you expect,do you live under a rock! Max still has to save the world but how you are wondering? Meet the president hes really in the book read this book to find out what he does to help the flock or destroy them at the same time. Fang starts a blog, and tells regular people like you and me about what the flock is doing and their problems, what is happening to the flock, are they all going nuts really his own blog why not go on TV and tell the world your a mutant freak.

frozen fire

the book i read is called frozenfire. the author is tim bowler. i chose this book because it looked like a very interesting book.this book is about a girl named dusty who gets a weird call at night
dusty gets a call at night from a random boy at night. the first ''thing he says is im dying''.the boy's skin is snow white. dustys brother josh went missing awile ago. the boy that called was saying all this stuff that josh sayed so dusty went looking for him. the boy gets dusty in a bunch of trubble. thare are alot of people that want the boy dead and dusty gets caught in the middle of it.
one thing i liked about this book is that is does not leave you hanging at the end,and that dusty is always getting in to trubble.a few things that i did not like about this book is that it kind of dragged on the book, and that the conclusion to the book was not very good. i would rate this book a 7 out of 10. i would recomend this book to people that do not like chickflicks. the age group that is best suted for this book is maybe like 11 and up

Wintergirls

Wintergirls by: Laurie Halse Anderson is about a girl and a promise she made to her friend Cassie. The title sounded interesting and so did the summary on the back of the book. Also, I have read other books by this author and liked them.
In Wintergirls a girl named Lia has an eating disorder. Her eating disorder started with a pact her and her bestfriend Cassie made. The pact was that they would be the skinniest girls in the school. Lia's parents are divorced and fought a lot. Cassie unintentianally kills herself but Lia still remembers the pact they made and stays true to it. Throughout Lia's life she is sent to a place called New Seasons which is a clinic to help people with their eating disorders. Lia moved in with her dad, his new wife Jennifer, and Jennifer's daughter, Emma after she was released from New seasons for the second time. Lia also has problems with cutting herself, but she cuts herself to deep one time and she collapses in the bathroom. Emma is the one who finds Lia and Jennifer refuses to let Lia move back in until she gains more weight and keeps the wieght on.
I liked how the author lets you get to know Lia and all her struggles. I also liked how he told you how Lia felt about her mom, why she starved herself, etc. I think anybody who likes other books written by this author will like this book.

Addie on the inside

The book I read is called Addie on the inside and it is by James Howe. It's about a girl trying to fit in at school and tries to make her way threw middle school. I chose this book because I thought it was a very interesting book.

Addie wanted to fit in but she kept getting picked on. So she slowly makes her way threw middle school and ends up with everyone liking her.

One thing I liked about the book is that this girl knows how to stand up for herself and she is not afraid of anyone. Another thing I liked about this book is that it was very descriptive about topics. One thing I didn't like about this book is everyone kept being very mean to this girl when all she wants to do is fit in. Another thing i didn't like was that the people did not get in trouble for their actions toward Addie. This age group is good for teenagers. I would totally recommend this to anyone. I also probaly would recommend this to people who like chick flick books.

7 habits of highly effective teens

This book is basically a guide to life for teenagers . It list 7 basic habits of teens.this book uses quotes out of children's books and out of real teenage stories. It talks about personal back accounts, friendships and how to deal with life. This book is helpful to teens because it helps with everyday life teens face. The book is 245 pages or helpful hints to get threw life in teenage years. in this book you see what everyday teens face n their lives that effect today's society n world we live in today. a lot of the stories you read about in this book have connected with many kids lives either if they have seen it through there older siblings of parents or even themselves.

The best thing about this book is that it isn’t just for teens it’s for everybody (teens, parents,
grandparents, ECT.).From a level 1 to 10, i pick 9. This book is good for
people how hate and love to read. Yes I know 245 pages are a lot but it’s a
good book so give it a try. This book has helped me through life so much more than
a journal. .this book is like a library but much more. When you read this book
you will be amazed about how you handle thing better and have a better
relationship with your family, friends, and way more.

This book is a boy and girl book. The age range is around 11 -100. If you don’t love this book
then I don’t know. But give it a try.

Peak by, Roland Smith

The book I read is called Peak by,Roland Smith. Its about a boy named Peak who climbs NYC skyscraper and is caught while doing it and goes with his dad Josh Wood and climbs Mount Everest.
I chose this book because I read the back of the book and it seemed very interesting to me.
This book is about a boy named Peak who goes to Nepal and climbs Mount Everest with his dad.Peak is mostly about climbing the mountain. This book is very descriptive about the troubles the Peak and the climbers faced while climbing. He has friend named Sun-Jo that is from Nepal and wants to win money so he can go back to school for his family.
Two things I liked mostly about the book is that is about climbing Mount Everest and the fact that Peak survived the climb with very thin air to the summit. Two things I didn't like was that it was that he talked about the dead frozen corpses on the ground in the death zone and that he was arrested NYC.I reccomend this book to anyone that is over the age of twelve.I think people would mostly like this book if they interested adventure books.

The Scorch Trials

I read a great book called The Scorch Trials. James Dashner, who wrote the book, is a great author!!! This book was full of adventure at every corner. I chose this book because I had just finished the Maze Runner, the first book in the series. The Maze Runner left me hanging on a cliff with suspense for what would happen to Thomas, Teresa, and the Gladers next.
The main character Thomas wanted to get himself, Teresa, and the Gladers safely out of the "Scorch" (the most burned out section of the world). This sounds easy but many problems stand in his way. To get through the "Scorch" and to the safe haven the Gladers (Thomas included) have to fight through "Cranks", people that were covered in festering wounds often inflicted by other "Cranks". The "Cranks" were infected by the Flare, an infectious disease, and driven to insanity (often eating other humans). Thomas and the Gladers also have to face WICKED the organization that has put them through these trials. So against all odds the Gladers and Thomas fight their way through the Scorch all the way to the end.
I loved the way James Dashner portrayed the characters and how he used a lot of suspense to keep the story going. I didn't like how we, the readers did not hear much about group B, the girls. This book is appropriate for ages 12 and up. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the Hunger Games and liked them, or if you like action novels filled with mystery and suspense.

NARUTO vol.4

Naruto vol.4 by: Masashi Kishimoto. The book is nonfiction and is about a boy named Naruto that wants to be the greatest ninja in his town. I chose this book because it is easy to read.

Naruto is trying to become a great ninja but nobody in his town thinks he is strong or can be great at anything. So he is still in training but is getting stronger.

The book is entertaining and is one you don't want to put down. It is appropriate for ages 13+ and reading level is probably 6-9. Not many of my friends read these kind of books so wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends. People who read Shonen Jump Manga and some graphic novels I would recommend this to.

The Last Little Blue Enevlope

I read The Last Little Blue Envelope because I read the first book. This book is about the same girl,Ginny Blackstone, the book picks up after she comes back from her trip. She is tiring to write her essay for college but she is having a difficult time writing it. One day she was looking in her e-mail and sees that someone from England has sent her a e-mail.The e-mail says that this person has all the letters and wants to talk, it gives her a address for a cafe.So Ginny packs a suitcase and goes to England and stays with her uncle Richard. It was around Christmas time so Richard got Ginny presents for Christmas. Ginny meets the person and finds out that his name is Oliver, and they have to go back to Paris to get a tabletop for some art her aunt wants Ginny to make.So Ginny and a group of friends travel around Europe again and get three pieces of stuff that Aunt Peg has paint.

I would recommend this book for people that read the first or who likes to read fiction. The names of town are a little easier but you can just skip over them.

Lovely Bones

The book I read was The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. The genre of this book is realistic fiction and a sort of horror fantasy. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a good mystery. But not to anyone who does not like horror in detail.
Susie Salmon is a 14 year old girl who is walking home from school through a corn field and meets and unexpected person.
George Harvey is an old neighbor that has been around and minds his own business. But little do the neighbors know he has a secret life that makes him so suspicious.
Jack Salmon will not give up on his daughters death and who commited the crime. He knows it is someone that lives close to the family. Even someone he has had a conversation with.
I liked that you knew what was happening in Heaven and on Earth in everyones lives. I also liked seeing how everyone elses life moved on. I didn't like how in detail the first chapter was, though! This book was an 8 to me, but to others a ten! I think the reading level would be a 9th grade level.

Out of the Dust

This book's title is Out of the dust by Karen Hesse .This book is about a girl who lived on farms in Oklahoma and went through the dust bowl . I choose this book because it looked interesting and when i read the back it seemed like something i would want to read.
This book is about her dad wanting a boy to help him with farms so they him and his wife had a baby but it was a girl so her dad ignores her and treats her like as if she was a boy and he wants to try and have another child and he is hoping it's a boy,but then something horribble happens to the mother and the baby.
What i liked about this book was it had smaller paragraphs so it was easier to read , Also i liked the books setting that it was in the past , There was not really anything i didnt like about this book because its one of my favorite books now . I think this book could be read by 9 and up because it dosent have anything bad in the book , But some things are harder to understand and you would like this book if you like reading about the past family's. I would recomend this to a friend.

The "Help"

The book I read was The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This book is told from the point of view from two black maids and one white girl. It takes place in Mississippi, 1962. It shows the hardship of life being african american and a maid, and Skeeter helps them tell the world about it. I chose this book because when I read an excerpt it looked very interesting.
In this book there are two maids that tell you their life and how they are treated. Aibileen is raising her seventeenth white baby and loves her to death. Minny, her best friend, is a stubborn woman that doesn't take anything from anyone. Skeeter is a white woman raised by a black maid and begins to get curious on her where Constantine had disappeared too. No one will tell her but she believes other maids will know...
Two things I liked about this book would be how in detail the women express their feelings. They are completely open-minded with what they think, about the woman they work for or how they believe in things. I also liked how emotional it was. That made the book so much more interesting. One thing I didn't like was how sometimes it was slow in getting to the point and it was boring. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romantic or emotional stories. Or even wanting to know the truth behind the way things are.

Dork Diaries

This book is the Dork diaries. By Rachel Renee Russell. Its an awesome book. One of my favorites. This book is the 1st book out of the 3 books. The 3 main characters are Nikki, the main main character. Another main character is Mackenzie, mostly a bully to Nikki. And the last main character is Brandon, Nikki's crush.
This book is mostly about Halloween and the Halloween dance. All Nikki wants is that Brandon will ask her out to the Halloween dance. At the end of the book (The Halloween dance) Brandon asked Nikki to go with her. She said yes. Then at the end of the Halloween dance Mackenzie embarrassed Nikki. Then Nikki ran outside. The sweet boy, Brandon, ran out behind her and comforted Nikki.
I would recommend this book to all the people that like girls, relationships, and DRAMA. Now i have read alot of good books/series and i would have to say that this is the BEST series that i have read.

Pretties

I read a great book called "Pretties." The author, Scott Westerfeld, is a great author!! This book is very adventurous! I chose this book because i am reading the series and this was the next book in the series! I am really glad that I read this book.
In this book the main character is Tally. She also has some friends that were involved that changed her! In this book a new character shows up named Zane. Tally has to make another big decision that will also change her life! When Tally is pretty her friend brings her a cure! The cure consists of 2 pills that you have to take to get the lesions out. Tally is too afraid to take them by herself so her friend Zane takes them with her. It turns out that you have to take both of the pills. The pills can actually kill you if you do not take both of them! Zane was the one that actually had to go through the hard time when he had to take the pill that can make you die. Not knowing the difference he just randomly took one and it was the bad one! Tally actually cured herself because the pill she took did not work without the other pill. Once Tally got herself out of being pretty minded she decided she has to run away! But the specials already had an eye on her! She actually did end up with her problem being solved but her friend Shay just had to show up!
Two things that I liked about the book is that it had a lot of adventure and that a lot of events just come up unexpectedly! Two things that I did not like about the book is that it is very long and sometimes hard to understand! If you are 11 or older and you are looking for a good book then pick this one! If you are a reading level of 5/10 then this book will be easy for you to understand and read. If you are interested in a adventurous book then why not this one? If you like reading and you read a lot then you might pick this book! It is long! Love reading?! Then pick this book!

The Lost Hero

The book that I just finished was The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. This books genre or topic is mythilogical and a fantasy. I choose this book because I had already read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This is sort of the next book in the series.

Percy Jackson, a demigod has gone missing from camp half blood. At around the same time he disapears, 3 new demigods appear, Jason, Piper, and Leo. Kids at camp half blood want to go find him but they have other battles to fight first. So annabeth sets out to find Percy, and Jason, Piper, and Leo fullfill thier prophecy while also tring to find pipers kidnapped father.

Two things that i liked about the book was that the author used great discriptive and figurative language. Also I liked that it was funny and adventures at the same time. I liked everything about the book. This book has a high reading level because it switches between Greek and Roman mythology. I would recomond this book to anyone over the age of about 11.

Hunger Games

Recently I read a book called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  I am aboslutely obsessed with the series as I have read it about four times no.
This book was mainly about a girl named Katniss. She wakes up one morning and realizes her sister was not in bed with her.  She knew why. It was because this morning was her sisters first reaping.
The reaping is where the capitol which is llike todays government chooses the people that will fught to the death in the hunger games.  The hunger games was invented when in the dark times as they call it when their was famine.  So they created the hunger ga,es so each district gives one and one boy to put into an arena so they fight to the death and everyone has to watch.
So when they finally reached the square to start the reaping Effie Trinket starts out with her usuall speel of how the hunger games came to be. Finally it was time for the names to be called. They first called the girls names. The girl is Prim Everdeen. Katnisses sister.
Katniss imediately volunteers for her. Prim runs out after her and Gale has to hold her back. She goes to the capitol and eats alot.
In the middle she and Peeta (the other trubute from district) team up.  They end up winning the hunger games and the go to live in the victors village.
Two things I liked about this book was that is was suspenseful and kind of true to what i think is going to happen in the future.  Two things i diddnt like was it was drawn out at the part where she is at the capitol.  Also thatg it was sad.  I would say this books reading leve would be 12 and up.  I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes books a bout dystoopian scocietys.

The Maze Runner

Recently I read a book called The Maze Runner by James Dashner.  I really liked this book and want more of them.
This book is mainly about a boy named Thomas who is dropped into a place called the maze made by the creators.  He was immediately swarmed by tons of other people who have been in the maze for a long time.
They started calling him alot of things of which Thomas knew none of and neither did I.  They all were mean to him except one kid who was his friend until the end.
Then a girl came she was the last one.  She was unconcious and it took her a while to come back. But when she did all she asked for was Thomas. So he went and earned that they can communicate with their minds. They were friends from then on.
Thomas kept saying he wanted to be a runner. So in the middle someone got stuck in the maze nd Thomas rescued him.  From that day on he was a runner.
In the end Thomas found a way out of the maze by jumping off a cliff.  When they got to  civilization they finally met the people who put them through all the torture. They then shot Thomases friend and Thomas freaked. That was the end of book 1.
Two things I liked about this book was it was suspenseful.  Also that it was very easy to read. T wo things I did not like about this book was that it was not very graphic. Also how it was kind of dry at some parts. I think the reading leve for this book would be 12 and up.                    In the middle of the story the girls have a flash back. The flash back is when the frist time their dad sexually abused Kaeleigh.
In the end Raennes boy friend Ray asked Kaeleigh out. She accpeted.

    Brians Hunt- Gary Paulsen

Brians Hunt by Gary Paulsen is the continuation of Hatchet. This book is about the boy, Brian, who is stranded in the Canadian Wilderness and uses only his wits to survive. In this book, he has a bunch of supplies he brought with him, since he wanted to go back. In the beginning, he remembres all the things that happened when he was first stranded in the wilderness. Now, armed with all the things he needs, he plans to do it again. My favorite part was when Brian entered his Canoe and snook up behind a Northern Pike. He was excellent at steering his way as not to spook the fish, so he was gentle when he paddled. After he got the fish, he took it back to camp to cook and eat. Then he settled down and went to sleep in his canoe. The next morning, he saw a moose while strolling along in his canoe. He mentally planned out how it would go. He then thought to himself and said, "I can't kill a moose, its to big, and a regular arrow wouldnt kill it." So he went back to camp and planned out a different way to kill the animal. In the end, Brian was armed with the knowledge of the wilderness, the skills of hunting, and he was an experienced hunter.

The first time she goes to as she calls it group her mom drove her.  She refused to get out of the car for a little while and then she gave in to her mothers intense stares and she went in.  As soon as she went through that door she thought that all the people in there were wackadoos including the counselor that ran the group.  She was suprised when she saw the most popular girl in school there.  At the end of the class she told Isabelle not to tell anyone she was there.  The popular girls name is Ashley.

This book is called Bleach vol. 4. The genre of this book is manga. i chose this book because i have read the first 3 volumes and i want to continue reading the Bleach series. There is 190 pages in this book.
In this Bleach volume a new reality TV show show sweeping the nation. Ichigo (the main character) absolutely hates this new TV show. This book is written by Tite kubo.
