Glee: The Beginning

Glee: The Beginning by Sophia Lowell, is based off the TV show "Glee". I chose to read this book because I like Glee.
This book explains life before Glee became what it is now. There is still a Glee Club but it is much smaller and the teacher never shows up. Kurt convinces Rachel, the over-achiever, annoying kind of girl, to join Glee Club to make them sound better. Tina, the shy Goth girl, joins the decorating committee and is tricked by the Cheerios. This results in the Glee Clubs first performance being a total bust. Homecoming is just around the corner so kids are finding dates, getting new dresses, and shining their shoes. It's up to Rachel to put the puzzle back together.
I enjoyed reading this book because I like Glee and it was just a good book. I don't really have anything negative to say about it. I would recommend this book to "Gleeks". I would say that it is a reading level 6. (25 chapters, 216 pages)
