I just finished reading the book The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch with Jeffery Zaslow. I picked this book because it looked like a good book and friends recommend it to me. I liked his book because it reminded me my grandpa.
This book was about a father, son, husband who has tumors on his liver and also has pancreatic cancer but is very optimistic about it. He is a professor, with only a few mouths left to live. Him and his family moved to Virginia to be close to his wifes family. His wife is Jai and he has three kids Dylan Chloe, and Logan. He was asked as soon as he moved to go to do a speech. He didn't know at first if he wanted to or not because he didn't want to take away precious family time that he can never get back. But Him and Jai talked and decided he would do it because it would be his last one and Jai decided to record it and show their kids when they get older. So they would have something to remember their dad. He picks the topic of his child hood and tells them all about it and him.
I would recommend this book to all my friends that like reading good books that are true stories and a quick read. I like this book because it reminded me of my grandpa how he was optimist about his cancer and knew he would die but didn't want to think of it that way. Another thing I liked was it was a good book that i enjoyed reading. there was nothing i disliked about this book.
