The Maze Runner

I just finished a book called The Maze Runner. It is written by James Dashner. The genre of this book is science fiction. I chose to read this book because one of my friends read the book and they liked it.

Thomas wakes up in a box and can't remember anything besides his name. He finds out that the place he is now living in is called the Glade. There are giant walls that close every night to protect the boys that live there from monsters. Outside the walls is a giant maze that they have been trying to solve to escape. After Thomas gets there, a girl arrives and thomas and the girl have telopathic powers. They have been trying to escape for 2 years now, is there a way out?

There are many things that i liked about the book. One thing that i liked is how the author wrote the book. It was very desriptive. I also liked how it was slow paced. I didn't feel like i had to read it all in one day. I would recomend this book to any one who likes mystery novels.
