The book I read was Mockingjay, the third book of the Hunger Games trilogy, by Suzanne Collins. This book is about Katniss, Peeta, and Gale and their struggles with Presdent Snow and the rebelion against the Capitol. I chose this book because when I read The Hunger Games I became madly obsessed with it so I read Catching Fire, too.
The main event in the book is the continuation of the rebellion Katniss started. Also, the "love-triangle" with Katniss, Peeta and Gale. There's many new characters, too, some being new main characters. There's a lot more settings, also. In the rebellion, there are a lot of deaths, fighting, and shooting so it gets really intense and action-packed.
Two things I liked about this book is the high-tech inventions that Suzanne Collins came up with because they play a huge impact on the events in the book. Also, who Katniss ends up with and the just about the last page of the book and the epilogue.(: It's so cute! I cried.(: There was nothing I didn't like about the book, either. Mockingjay is appropriate for about 14 and up, I'd say. I wouls definitlely reccommend, not just the book, but the whole series to a friend, they're so awesome.(: I think any girl would like this book, pretty much. There's not really a specific type of person because it has action, romance, and it's pretty Sci-fi, too. I just don't think boys would like it because of the romance.(:
