In this series Sadie and Carter Kane along with the help of their friends and gods have to awaken the Egyptian king of gods Ra . Carter and Sadie both have magic abilities . Carter follows the path of the god of war Horus . Sadie follows the path of the god of magic abilities Isis . If the Kane's cant awaken Ra in time Apophis will break free of his prison and destroy civilization and possibly the world . I really enjoyed this book and cant wait for the next one . i would recommend this book to people who like fast paced and exciting stories about magic . Rick Riordan has written many chronicals about gods and magic . This book has 452 pages .
