draw the dark

Draw the Dark is a book written by Ilsa J. Bick. This book is about 330 pages long. The books' topic or genre is mystery. I picked this book because it looked interesting to me.

This book is about a boy named Christain Cage, who is seventeen years old and who lives in Wisconsin. At a young age his mother and father disappeared, he has been drawing his mothers face, and eyes ever sense. he has also been drawing this place.........this door that he calls "the sideways place" and he believes his mother and father are trapped and they need his help to get them out. he thinks if he can just look into her eyes he can find his way in. But hes not positive is he will ever find his way back out with his parents'. He also draws other things like peoples nightmares, and he believes they go to "the sideways place".

I liked how they made Christain draw peoples nightmares, but i didn't like how the book could get boring at times. I would say the reading level would be +9. I would recommend this book to and one who likes mystery's.
