Holes

The book's title is holes.Louis Sachar is the author.The book holes is about a kid who goes to a bad boys camp for stealing a pair of shoes.I chose it because it looked interesting.
Stanley(the main character) goes to court for stealing shoes(which he didn't accually steal).He had the choice to go to jail or go to camp.he said he had never been to camp before and he was sentenced 18 months at camp green lake.But come to find out there is accually no lake at camp green lake and it absolutely sucks. So he makes friends and finds out how another kid at camp has a history that intertwines with Stanley's.
One thing i liked about the book is that it switches between two different stories. And another thing i liked is the slight mystery which gets found in the end of it.What i didn't like is the book is very simple.A lso it is a good book but it is almost too easy, like a fifth or fourth grade book.I wouold recomend this to any one who likes easy books.Probably girls and boys.
