Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone

     The book i read is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone" by  J. K. Rowling. Its about a young wizard named Harry and he goes to Hogwarts to learn how to use his magic. I choose this book because someone i know read the whole series and told me they were all very good.
     It all started when Harry was a baby and Voldemort came into his home, killed his parents, and left him with a scar on his forehead. Then he had to live with his aunt, uncle and his cousin. They were all mean to him and made him sleep in a closet under the stairs.By his eleventh birthday Hagrid took him to Hogwarts (the wizard school). While he was there he made two friends Ron and  Hermione. The three of them had some weird things happen to them in Hogwarts. They met up with a giant three headed do and a huge troll.
     I did not like anything about the book other than its over 400 pages. I didn't like it because it was boring and wasn't what i expected.i wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Some people love this book and some people just really hate it.
