Llana of Gathol

Llana of Gathol is the last Martian book. This book is once again about Mars and blah blah blah. This book was pure genius on a skillet with a side of oj. I personaly thought that this book was great.

The story takes place on John Carter’s hovercraft where he decides to explore an ancient city called Horz. There he found a white blonde haired warrior (this is unheard of on Mars) fending off six warriors. John came and helped the lone warrior and they slew everyone but one who was trying to escape by riding on a beast. By now there were many more blonde warriors but John hopped onto a beast and chased the warrior down and killed him. He came back and was captured because the people were inhabitants of the deserted ancient city of Horz. Someone vouched for him so he was sent to prison with John carter. They explored the prison and found a weird person who had coffins all around him. He told them to rest but John saw that he was really trying to eat them he killed the man and people from the coffins got up and thanked John Carter but they were disintegrated because of shear age. Someone who did not disintegrate was Llana of Gathol, John’s grand-daughter. They set off on a journey by escaping from prison and deciding to walk nearly one thousand five hundred miles from Horz to Gathol. The rest of this story won’t be discussed in the blog.

I liked this book for a few reasons. One reason why I like this book is because of the sci-fi action. Another thing I liked about this book was that it was short and to the point. One thing I did not like about this book was the ending.
