Percy Jackson: The Lightning Theif by Rick Riordan is a very good book about a kid who is 50 percent human and 50 percent god. Percy is the son of his regular mom and his god dad. His dad is Poseidon. This book is about Percy trying to find Zueses lighting bolt before the summer solstice Percy faces many challenges along the way of searching for the lightning bolt. Percy traveles to new york city with his friends Annabeth and Grover. The three of them travel to the underworld to find the god of the underworld. They asked the god if he knew where the lightning bolt is and he said he had it. the god of the under world kidnapped Percys mom and gave The 4 of them 3 teleporters to get back to civilazation and Percys mom stayed. After Percy returned the lightning bolt he got his mom back and the story ended.
I really liked this book. I liked all the action in this book. I would rate this book a 10 out of 10 stars becuase of how good it was. I would recommend this book to anyone
