MockingJay

I read MockingJay by Suzanne Collins, this is the last book in the Hunger Games trilogy. In this book Katniss must decide if she wants to be the face of the rebellion against the capitol and how to handle the immense pressure. I choose this book because I had read the first two books and I wanted to see how it all ended.
Katniss wanted to bring down the capitol but is afraid of the consequences if they lose the rebellion. After being taking out of the arena of the Quarter Quell. Katniss is faced with the decision of whether or not she wants to be the Mockingjay. Meaning if she wants to be the rebels inspiration during the rebellion against the capitol. However, Peeta was not rescued when Katnss was instead he was brought to the capitol and is tortured. So Katniss agrees to be the MockingJay for her father, for Peeta, and all other tributes of the Hunger Games.
I liked how Katniss always puts other people before her self and fights for what she believes. I also liked the how the Hunger Games trilogy ended. I didn't like how sad this book was and of all the deaths involved. I think this book is appropriate for people over the age of 10. I would recommend this book to anybody because of its wide range of genres.
