After his shocking news Katniss is overcome with hatred and every other emotion imaginable! Whatever District 12 used to have is now taken away by Thread, the new head peacekeeper who whips and hurts people without even a blink of an eye. Now Katniss must grab hold of everything she loves and never let go, because her world is about to take an unexpected journey of terror...
Two things I loved about this book are that it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through the story, and that it also was very action-filled and surprised me every minute! I disliked nothing about this book! This novel is appropriate for ages 12 and up because at times it can be gory, and I would definitely recommend this novel to a friend. People that like action, romance, fiction, fantasy, and very exciting books would love to read this novel.
