Chasing Rainbows

Recently I read a book called Chasing Rainbows by Kathleen Long.  This book was great and I could not put it down.
This book was mainly about a woman whose father had just died.  In the begnning of the book she was at her mothers house trying to remeber what it was like when her father was still alive.  She was looking at all the pictures and going through his clothes.  She was trying to pick some out so she could still have a little peice of her father though he is gone.  This is the only time in the book that she is not thinking about her daughter named Emma or her now newly divorced husband who her mother has not found out that they are now divorced.  Her brother then comes into the room.  She wants her brother to pick out a motor cycle jacket of her dads but he refuses because he is not ready yet.  She then goes home with the clothes and goes through a special box that she kept all of Emmas old things in.  She goes through the baby clothes her little stuffed bear and her peice of hair.  She was so happy before Emma died.  She did not even know she was going to die they thought she was perfectly fine.  Two days later she died.  She then starts thinking about her husband that she split up with because he cheated on her with another woman who now is pregnant.  Now all she has is her best friend who now she is fighting with because she is pregnant.
In the middle of the book she has a new neighbor move into her complex who she likes and thinks is cute.  She also gets a job at an ice rink.  She later in the book falls in love with the guy and she and him start to date.  That is where the book ended.
Three things I liked about this book was it was heart felt and it had a happy ending.  Also that it was so good that I could not put it down.  I did not dislike anything about this book.  I would think the reading level of this book would be 11+.  I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes stories that are realistic fiction.  :-)
