Burned by Ellen Hopkins

Pattyn believes in love and respect. Not what her father believes. And certainly not what her religion believes.

Pattyn lives a hard life. She wakes up in the morning, just to take care of her younger sisters. Her mother sleeps in her bed, covered in bruises. But right next to her mom is the devil, her father. Her father is really big in religion and doesn't believe in women's rights. After Pattyn starts to 'disobey' her eligion, she is sent to her Aunt Jeanette's, only to be thrown into the arms of Ethan. Ethan is the love of Pattyn's life. And Pattyn is terrified. But is she terrified of her father, her religion, or herself?

Burned is another Ellen Hopkins' book. It was really religious in the beggining, but once i got throught the shallow beggining, i was in love :). This book is by far my favorite. 5 stars bud.
