Getting It by Alex Sanchez

This book, I read, called Getting it, is about Carlos, his friends, Playboy, Toro, and Pulga. Playboy is obbsessed with this website that rates people, hot or snot. Pulga, like this girl, and she likes him back, but he pretends not to like her. Toro spends hours at the gym, for the girls. Carlos, on the other hand, has nothing to do with girls, he has to spend every Saturday with his father's new family, his young wife and their 3 year old son, Henry. Carlos decides after watching this show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, that he wants the only school gay guy, Sal to give him a makeover. Not only does Sal clean him u on the outside, but he cleanses him at home, and on the inside. He then gets his crush, Roxy, to like him. He wants Roxy, as a girlfriend, but Roxy doesn't like him as a boyfriend. In the end, screts come out.

Getting It was interesting.... I chose it because Juli, told me to. I kinda liked it, because Carlos was really funny, but I didnt like how they kept exagerating about being gay. They try to make a Gay-Strait alliance at the school, but the pricipal is against it. Thats like really mean. I'd rate this book 4/5.
