Shiver Book Review

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater was a book about a 17 year old girl named Grace and how she goes  to find a way to keep her boyfriend Sam from shifting into a wolf. I chose this book because the lady in the library told me that she read it and that it was a really good read.
This story was a thrilling tail on a girl named Grace who was attacked by wolves when she was little and bitten. She was supposed to turn into a wolf until her idiot dad locked her in the car on a 100 degree day. Now she has to try to keep her boyfriend Sam from turning into a wolf when the temperature drops! She also has to try to keep the wolf thing a secret, well trying to keep the new wolf Jack Culpeper from biting anyone on else. This book keeps you on the end of your seat!!!
Some things the author did well  was that she keep changing between characters so you get every ones point of view. She also described things really well and took you into the book. Some things I didn't like was that she switched characters really and babbled on about not important things. 2 Things I liked was at the top of every chapter she wrote the degrees of everyday. I also liked how she described the characters. 2 Things I didn't like was that she made the chapters kind of short and switched characters sometimes really fast so you didn't get all of it. I recommend this book for grades 7 and up and I think people who like fiction stuff would like this book!!!
