The Off Season

I read a book called "The Off Season" by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. The genre of this book is realistic fiction. I chose this book because it was next in the series that i am reading.
D.J., the main character, wanted a good life. She thought it was possible to get popular, and live a good life without any problems. That was before she broke her shoulder. After she broke her shoulder, all her dreams were buried. She had to quit football just because of the injury! After her shoulder got broken, her mom's back started having problems. Her mom couldn't even walk. On top of that, her brother, Win, got severely injured during a big football gave. Her boyfriend, Brian, is turned into her ex-boyfriend. Her younger brother has his own feelings for a girl. Over all, she has to drop everything and proceed to the hospital to take care of her brother, Win. After all these problems collide, the world starts going back to normal. They each find a twist and turn to pass the obstacles in their way.
Two things that i liked about this book is that it is easy to read and it has events in it that are possible to happen in real life. The reading level this book is appropriate for is 6/10. I would recommend it to a friend. The kind of people that would like this book is sports fans.
