Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

John and Savannah, will they last? Only time will tell. John loves Savannah, Savannah loves John. But when a close friend starts to die, and has an autistic brother... Things beome complicated.

John Tyree is a marine. A muscular, outspoken soldier. His father is a silent coin collecter. John surfs. His father relies on his schedule to guide him. John comes home whenever. The diffrence of John and his father are obvious, but John tries to relate to his unsocial father, but cannot and ends just giving up. John then meets Savannah Lynn Curtis, a smart, beautiful volunteer. Their worlds collide, and they end up falling for each other. But when 9/11 and college seperate each other, the only thing kepig them together is the letters to each other. But the letters stop. All contact is lost. But Savannah sends the last and final letter. What does it say? Do John and Savannah rekindle their undying love?

I liked parts of the book. There really wasn't a part when you were all nervous and jittery, except when John gets the last letter. I liked the plot all together. i give it a 2/5. I don't reccomend it, except to people who like love stories that aren't exciting. I chose this book because i saw the movie and Channing Tatum is pretty hot!
