My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

I read, My Sister's Keeper. The story is full of drama, love devotion. and suprise. It was an easy read, and a greatly written book. The book is about a girl, Kate Fitzgerald who has luekimia, and she has her younger sister, Anna about to donate one of her kidneys. But does Anna want to put up with it?

Anna is 13 years old. Her sister, Kate is 15 and is dying of luekemia. Kate needs blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, and a kindney transplant. Anna loves her sister dearly, but doesn't want to go through with all the procedures. But that is her meaning in life, to help Kate. She was created in a test tube, just for Kate's well-being. Even Kate's older brother, Jesse is going through with bood platelet transfusions, but Jesse doesnt have the right blood type for Kate. Neither does her over-protective mother, Sara, or her loving father, Brian. When Anna decides she no longer wants to be Kate's only hope to life, Cambell Alexander, and Julia Romano (Cambell's ex- gri;friend and the person who decides wheter Anna's ready to make such a big decsion.) become involved, and Sara needs Anna. Sara most importantly needs Kate. But when Kate meets Taylor, the boy with cancer also, will Kate saty alive long enough for Taylor and her to have a relationship?

My Sisters Keeper was an excellent book. The story is full of true pain and passion. I chose this book because i saw the movie, and wanted to know if it endd the same. Sadly, it didn't. I would reccomend this to 13- 40 year old people. It desereves 5 stars oout of 5.
