The Last Lecture

The Last Lecture by Randy Paush is a detailed autobiography written by a man who only had 3 to 6 months to live. Randy looks like a very healthy fourty-seven year old,but with about ten tumors in his liver he's slowly dieing everyday form pancreatic cancer.

As a professor at Carnegie Mellon he wants to give a last lecture (literly.) In this lecture he tells his life from scratch. From when he was painting pictures on his wall as a child to when he and his children were swimming with dolphins at Disney World! Ever since he was a child , Randy was learning new things and wanting to do new things. In his lecture he talks about playing football, having the biggest stuffed animal at a carnival, being in zero gravity, writing a newspaper article in the encyclopedia, being captain kirk. And being a Disney imagineer. Everything he wanted to do and every thing he had accomplished.

This book was a great story about a man who did, about a man who fought against life as long as he could. Randy Pausch a man with only months to live gives this educating lecture about his life. This book will make you laugh, cry, and think about how good this story is. The best part it's a quick read you'll be done in a few days. Randy Pausch did die of pancreatic cancer in 2006.
