Impulse

                     Impulse is written by Ellen Hopkins .  Impulse is about   three  teenagers who are in a mental institution  who really don't really want to be there.
                      The three teens are named Tony , Vanessa , and Conner . To eventually get out of  the institution  they have to earn levels  that come with certain privileges   like eating in the cafeteria or taking walks. But to earn these levels takes hard work . It is especially hard when Tony and  Conner both like Vanessa . Vanessa also thinks both of them are gay .  These teens have reasons to be in  this  MENTAL institution . Vanessa is in there because  she cuts herself. Conner is there because  he tried to shoot himself and Tony is in there because he had an inapropriate  relationship with a teacher. With all this drama  they  will have to work very hard to get out .
                        I would recommend  this book to  people  who think they have problems with drama. They will feel a LOT better after reading this book .
