Search and Destroy

                 The book i read is call Search and Destroy. The author is Dean Hughes. The book is a adventure of a guy name Rick going  to Vietnam to fight in the army. I chose this book because i like to read stuff about war.

                 Rick wanted to get away from his life in Utah for many reasons. Some like this girl he loved named Judy, his parents, and friends. So he gets to Vietnam and the first time he goes into the jungle he makes contact. so he finds out the war isn't what he thought it was going to be. But he keeps going and doesn't give up especially for the troops he was fighting with. So Rick meets a Vietnamese family and realizes that he isn't so much different from himself.

                  One thing i liked about this book was it was action packed. Another thing i liked about this book was i was based in Vietnam. One thing i dint like about this book was is was very long. Another thing i didn't like about this novel was it wasn't that detailed. I would recommend this to people ages 12 and up. anybody would like this book. This novel was very interesting and kept me guessing. I hope to soon read more books by this author.
