What Happened to Cass McBride?

For my fourth independent reading book, I read the book " What Happened to Cass McBride?" I thought it was a pretty good book, but i think it was a little freaky too. "What Happened to Cass McBride" is about a popular teenage girl in high school. She's nice, unlike most popular girls in high school, but when a weird guy in her grade asks her out she isnt too nice anymore. She told him maybe, but she wrote a letter to her friend and the guy read what she was writing. He got really angry and gto a little crazy and when he got home, he wrote a note to his older brother and hung the note he wrote and the letter from Cass, on his chest and hung himself on a tree in his back yard. When his brother Kyle, found out why he killed himself, he found Cass, kidnapped her and buried her alive. Cass' dad contacted the police and it took more than 48 hours to find everything out and where she is. When they found out Kyle was the one who did it, they arrested him and made him tell the police where he buried her. When they found her she wasnt breathing so they took her to the hospital but she was fine. Thats why I thought it was freaky.
