The Last Song

I read the book The Last Song which is now a movie starring Miley Cyrus. It was written by Nicholas Sparks. It is about a rebelious teenager and her brother spending the summer at their dad's beach house.

Ronnie is just another normal rebelious teenager. Her parents have recently gotten divorced and she is still not used to it. She's always is in a bad mood, because she is mad at her parents for getting divorced. She and her little brother live with their mom. However, they are forced to spend the summer at their dads house on the beach. All she wants is to have a normal life. Also, to do the things that she wants to do. She does things her way or no way. However, she meets a boy and starts to fall in love with him. Being with him starts to make her a better person. So, Ronnie becomes nicer, to everyone. She starts to play piano again like she used to. Also, she starts to get close to her dad again. Then something bad happens! But you will just have to read the book to find out what it is...

This book was okay. I didn't like how mushy it was. I also didnt like how the story didn't flow very good. It seemed like Ronnie and her boyfriend would fight then makeup, then fight and makeup, and again, and again throughout the whole story. I did like though how throughout the book Ronnie slowly got nice again. Also, I like what the book is called, it is perfect for the story. However, you will have to read it to know what I mean. I would reccomend this book only to girls. Especially girls who like mushy books.
