The Last Song By: Nicholas Sparks

The last song is about a seventeen year old girl named Veronica "Ronnie" Miller. Her life was turned upside-down when her parents decided to get a divorce. Her father moved to Wilmington, North Carolina from New York City. Three years go by and Ronnie is still bitter and angry because of the divorce, and still hasn't talked to her father. Yet Ronnies younger brother Jonah is more open and excepting towards there father. But one day her mother thought that it would be in everyones best interest if Ronnie spent the summer at her fathers house in North Carolina. Ronnies father who was a former teacher and concert pianist, is now living a nice quiet life in a beach town. He is working hard to create a work of art that will become the centerpiece of the local church.

While Ronnie is at her fathers house she meets a boy named will. Throughout the book there love for eachother grows.

The unforgettable tale is unfolded in a very interesting story of love. This love is shown on many different levels from, first true love, to a familys growing love for eachother. This novel demonstrates the many ways love can break our hearts and heal them as well.

I recommend this book for teenage girls who enjoy reading love storys.
