Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People

I chose to read this book because I think the Captain Underpants books are funny. They are written by Dav Pilkey. In this story Captain Underpants, George and Harold go to the school library and find a purple porta potty. They went inside it and were transported to a world of opposites. In the world of opposites George and Harold were super smart evil geniuses, Captain Underpants had hair and was evil. Instead of Harold's hamster for a pet, George had a blue terydaktyl.

My favorite part of the book is the flip-0-rama! This part of the book is when you take two pages, hold one with your left hand, move your left hand back and forth very fast so it looks like the drawing on the right page is moving. In the flip-o-rama it shows Harold's grandpa and George's grandma fighting the purple potty people.

I think kids would like this book because it has evil, horror and laughter in it. Parts of the book are written like a comic book. George and Harold are always getting in trouble! Give them a try!
