Benjamin Bartholomew Piff

The book that I finished reading is Benjamin Bartholomew Piff by Jason Lethcoe. The topic is that some kids get wishes. I chose to read this book because the Libarian recommended for me.

                                                                                                                                                  This book is about a kid named Benjamin who is an orphan. Benjamin is ruled by Ms. Eliza Pinch. The cook is Mr. Roach. Benjamin has made an escape plan to get out of that place. Then one day his kind case worker sends him a cake to celebrate his 11 birthday.Ms. Pinch snatches the cake from Ben and Mr. Roach locks the cake in the refrigerator. Later that night, after Ben has spent hours scrubbing pots with a toothbrush, he unlocks the cake from the refrigerator, lights the candles and makes a birthday wish.

                                     There are two things I like about this book and that is it is Mysterious and has alot of cleverness. I think 12 and up is right for this book. I would reccomend it to a friend.
