Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days

          The book i read is called Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. The author of this book is Jeff Kinney. This book's genera is mostly comedy. I mainly choose this book because it was a easy read and i needed to get my last blog done fast.
          In this book the main character Greg is always picked on and is not good with the ladies. He insists that he stays home all summer and doesn't want to go anywhere. His mom continues to urge him to get out of the house but he refuses. His best friends name is Rowley. Rowley on the other hand is good with girls. Greg is always having a horrible thing happen to him. One time he and Rowley went to the country club with a girl and she ended up ignoring him and talking to a life guard. Another time Rowley tricked him into jumping off the high diving board. Then after Rowleys dad finds out how many smoothies he had at the country club he billed Greg. Another bad day. Then Greg and Rowley decide to start a lawn business and have horriable luck, then his dad has to come and finish and he didn't even get paid.
          There were a few things that i liked about this book and nothing that i didn't like about this book it was overall great and i plan on reading the rest of the series. One thing i did like was how funny the book was. Another thing that i liked about the book was that he always has one bad day after another. I would recommend this book to friends and family. Age group would be 8+.
