A Stolen Life

I read the book A Stolen Life. The author of this book is Jaycee Dugard. I chose to read this book because it looked interesting. I also chose to read this because it was a true story.

This book is about a 11 year old girl, Jaycee, that was abducted at her school bus stop. She was kept in the back yard compound were she had been raped and abused. After 18 years of being there she had two children that were girls. As she got older she had stopped getting raped, but she was still kept in the compound. Eventually as she got older things got easier.

   I liked this book because it was about a true story and was interesting. I didn't like this because it is sad that this happened to someone so young. I would reccomend this to any friend if they asked me.
