The book I read was The Call of the Wild by Jack London. The book is based on a dog named Buck. This book has been around for many years.
The story takes place in the extreme conditions of the Yukon during the 19th-century Gold Rush, where strong sled dogs were in high demand. After Buck, a domesticated dog, is snatched from ranch in California, he is sold into a brutal life as a sled dog. Buck struggles to adjust and survive the mean treatment he receives from humans, other dogs, and nature. He eventually loses his kindness and instead relies on instincts and the lessons he has learned to become a respected and feared leader in the wild. Will Buck find his way home, or will he stay with the pack?
This is a good read for anybody who likes to read a good adventure. My favorite part of the book was when Buck took over the pack leader because he overcame his fears.Their was not one dull part in this book
