The Education of a Baseball Player By, Mickey Mantle

This book is written in a first person point of view. Mickey Mantle talks about his whole baseball career, for example in 1967 he and his team won the world series. I recommend this book to someone who really is devoted to baseball and likes the New York Yankees. This book has some ups and downs because its not one of those books with lots of suspense than mystery and adventure types of books. It is autobiography (written by the person). I like this book mostly because it is about how a ballplayer makes it into the big leagues in the Golden era of baseball, for example Mickey makes it by having the New York Yankees scout look at him. Lastly, I think this book for any baseball fan too. I give this book 4 stars because it is boring to read at times but, most of the time it is what the title says.
