Stormbreaker

This book Stormbreaker is the first in the Alex Rider book series. Stormbreaker was written by Anthony Horowitz. This book's genre is action/adventure. I chose this book because I like spy adventure books.

In this book Alex Rider is a fourteen-year-old who finds out that his uncle was a MI6 agent after he gets killed. Alex later finds himself helping the MI6 who are curious about Herod Sayle. Sayle is a man who is generuosly giving every British school it's own Stormbreaker computer. Sayle was the inventor of the Stormbreakers. Alex's uncle, Ian Rider, had infultrated Sayle's enterprise and it cost him his life. Now Alex must do the same by going undercover as Felix Lester, a boy who won Sayle's contest to be the first kid to try out the Stormbreaker's. Alex discovers that the Stombreakers going to the schools have something added to them. Also that something strange is going on at Sayle Enterprises. Alex must figure out what exactly is going on and stop it before it's too late.

One thing I liked about this book was that it was action packed. Also I liked this book because it had a lot of close call scenes. One thing I didn't like about this book was the character Mr. Grin. I didn't like him because he was kind of creepy. I would recomend this book to people between the ages of 9-12 who like action and spys.
