I read Evidence of Murder by: Lisa Black. This book is about a women trying to prove three murders that everyone is quick to assume are connected, but really aren't. I chose this book because my sister, Amber recommended it to me.
Evidence of Murder is about a women named Theresa MacLean trying to prove what really happened to three people who were murdered. The three people murdered, a young mother, a teenage boy, and a prostitute, all supposedly froze to death, but Theresa doesn't believe that's true. This book mainly focuses on the young mother, Jillian Perry. Her murder was ruled suicide, but Theresa thinks Jillian's husband, Evan, killed her to inherit the large amount of money Jillian's parents left her and her daughter. Theresa must work fast if she wants to save Jillian's daughter, Cara. Theresa becomes obsessed with this case and will do anything, including losing her job, to save Cara from Evan.
One of my favorite parts of this book were the unexpected twists at the end. Another thing Iliked was the way the author kept you guessing what really happened to Jillian and the other to victims. One of the things i didn't like was the book got confusing at times when she would switch cases. I think anybody who likes CSI would enjoy reading this book. I would reccomend it to some of my friends, but it defiantly was't my favorite book.
