Perfect

Recently I read a book called Perfect  by Natasha Friend.  This book I had to sneak by my mom because she did not think it was suitable for me to read but it was overall worth it.
This book is mainly about a girl named Isabelle who has an eating disorder. Her disorder is called bulimia.  This is when you binge on food and then throw it all up.  One day her sister who she calls ape face came into the bathroom and sees Isabele throwing up.  Isabelle tries to ie and tell her it was the flu but her sister was too smart for that.  Her mom finds out and she takes her to a group to discuss her problem with other people who have the same or simlar problem as her.
The first time she goes to as she calls it group her mom drove her.  She refused to get out of the car for a little while and then she gave in to her mothers intense stares and she went in.  As soon as she went through that door she thought that all the people in there were wackadoos including the counselor that ran the group.  She was suprised when she saw the most popular girl in school there.  At the end of the class she told Isabelle not to tell anyone she was there.  The popular girls name is Ashley.
From then on they got closer and closer together and started doing more things together. They started binging together.
Finally in the end she decided to stop binging but she remained friends with Ashley.
Tow things I liked about this book is that it is very true to some teens lives.  Another thing is that Natasha Friend did not sugar cote and of the issues in the book.  Tow things I did not like was the begining.  I thought it was too long and drawn out.  Also I diddnt like that it was short i diddnt want it to end.  I would girls 13 and up.  I think the level would be a 5 out of 10.  If you are a person who likes real life situations  i reccomend this book for you.
