Catching Fire :)

I recently finished Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. This book is part of the Hunger Games trilogy. Catching Fire is about how Katniss and Peeta have different lives after they have won the games. I chose to read this book because the first book, Hunger Games, was such a great book! I couldn't resist! I absolutely love these books!
In this book, so many key things happen! After Katniss and Peeta had won the 74th Hunger Games, they begin their Victory Tour. But before they leave, Katniss is visited by President Snow. He explained that he is very angry for showing signs of rebellion during the games, especially trying to commit suicide with Peeta, which let them both win. Also, she created talk of rebellion in the districts, which the Capitol does not want. Then, when District 12 gets new Peacekeeper's, things change. Things don't get by so easy anymore, and the punishments are painful. And when Katniss and Peeta are chosen to go back in the arena for the Quarter Quell, she decides to protect Peeta in the Games. When they are thrown in the arena, Katniss and Peeta join up with others to become a team and survive. Will Katniss survive? If not, will Peeta?
I absolutely loved this book! I really like how this book is written so well that you don't want to put it down! It's so interesting! You just want to know what happens next so you keep reading and before you know it, you've finished the book. I also like how Katniss is rebellious. She shows the Capitol that they won't be in control for much longer. Katniss is determined to protect her and her family, and she does a good job! She's so thoughtful and she's tired, like everybody else, of being controlled by the Capitol. This book is appropriate for 6th graders and up and it's definitely a perfect read. Not too hard or easy! This book is really for anybody! I never liked action books, but this book totally changed my mind! I think everybody should read this trilogy, especially Catching Fire! It's the most interesting in my opinion. I hope everybody gets a chance to read these books because they are just amazing reads! :)
