Shell Game

My third blog report was on the book called Shell Game by Sara R. Shaber. This book's genre was suspense, and it was gripping. I chose this book because the front cover caught my attention, and the description on the back interested me so i gave it a try. Also my mom read the book and she recommended the book.
Towards the beginning of the book, the main character's( Dr. Simon Shaw) friend David Morgan was killed. Morgan was an archaeologist who was looking for a prehistoric skeleton that belonged to the "Uwharrie Man". Morgan and others from his occupation were fighting over the disposition of the Uwharrie Man. Simon Shaw is a North Carolina professor and a forensic historian. he is Morgan's executor and had to deal with all his bills, and possession issues with Morgan's sister Denise McGrath... I started the story, now you will have to read the book to see what happens with the Uwharrie Man and with Morgan's murder.
I liked the book a lot. But if i had to pick two things they would be... How the book left you guessing sometimes.. Also how the events that Dr. Simon Shaw goes through and deals with you very well happen to one of us. Although I liked the book very much I disliked some parts of it as well. The writer left you hanging, and it had some words that were hard to comprehend. This book would be age appropriate for 7/8 grade readers that like suspense, and for readers that enjoy a little bit of Native American history. Also people that like Graphic Novels would more than likely read this book.
