Incarceron

Time has stopped! This Claudia knows, but not much else. Incarceron by Catherine Fisher is a thrilling novel about Claudia and Finn's story. I chose to read this book because I could not pronounce the title. It seemed like an interesting and challenging book.

Incarceron is a very complex book but in that there are two main characters. Finn and Claudia. Claudia is the wardens daughter. The warden of Incarceron. Incarceron is a prison, a living prison that does what it wants when it wants. As the wardens daughter Claudia is important. Important enough to marry the prince until the prince dies and his younger brother takes his place. Claudia does not like the 2nd prince (she liked the 1st prince)but her father and the queen arranged the marriage. If Claudia marries the prince she and her father will have ALOT of power. But Claudia is curios and she steals the key to Incarceron from her fathers study and uses it to communicate with Finn a boy inside Incarceron desperate to get out but Incarceron lets no one in and no one out until Finn.....

I love that Incarceron is soooo creative. I dislike how slow the beginning is. It is also very confusing. This book is appropriate for ages 9 and up. If you like teen fantasy then you will like this book.
