I really dislike this book, just a fair warning. Escape Furnace takes place in an underground prison secretly meant to create supersoldiers. The reason I picked this book is I havn't read too many books this year.
The plot is that the main character who was caught trying to escape is captured in the beggining and gets turned into a Blacksuit supersoldier. Eventually, he gets tested by 'The Warden,' and passes. He eventually does the impossable and escapes (there is a 4th book so thats not the actual ending to the series). I hated how the book turned out before he ended up escaping, but I really didn't see the ending coming. This is a fair book for teenagers and I would recommend the entire series to a friend. The people this would be approporiate for are prison escape readers and horror readers.
