Thirteen Reasons Why

I read the book "Thirteen Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. I chose this book because i heard it was good and entertaining. This is a tradgic book about a girl that kills herself and leaves behind sven tapes about thirteen people on why she did it.

Hannah Baker had moved to her new school awhile ago. She had commeted suicide leaving behind seven cassette tapes and on each side of the tap is one person that has effected her life and choice on why she killed herself. She made only a copy for only the people on the tapes, they are the only ones that will see them if they pass them around. But, if they don't pass all the tapes around, a copy of them will go public. Also, each person gets a map that they are suppost to physically follow when they are listening to the tapes and there story. On tapes there can be some very bad secrets that nobody would have ever found out about until now.

Two things I liked about this book was how it is set up and how she has them follow to the places on a map. Two things I didn't like about this book was how young the girl died and how sad it was. I think that this book is appropriate for the ages of thirteen and up. I would recommend this book to people that like to read sad/dramatic books.
