The Long Walk

  The book I read was The Long Walk by Richard Bachman aka Stephen King.  This book is a science fiction novel that I chose because I have been reading a lot of books by Stephen King.
  This book is about a group of teenage boys who participate in an annual walking contest, but there's a twist. Each contestant must keep a speed of four miles per hour at all times. If the contestants don't follow the rules they get one verbal warning and after that they would be shot and killed.
  Two reasons why I liked this book were it kept me thinking which contestant would win, and that this was also similar to the Hunger Games. I would recommend this to anyone 13+ or who likes science fiction novels. I also would recommend this to a friend.
