Under a War Torn Sky

The book I read is Under a War Torn Sky by L.M Elliot. The book is based on WW2 fighter jets . It takes place overseas in France against Hitler.
Only 19 years old, Henry F. decides to join war. He’s one of the best fliers, facing Hitler’s Army in the war-torn skies above Northern France, but when his plane is shot down on a mission behind enemy lines, Henry finds himself on a new battlefield. Wounded, hungry, and afraid, he struggles toward freedom, relying on the kindness of the French army to reach the next town alive. Each day brings him nearer to home and closer to danger. Yet even as Henry struggles for his own survival in a hostile country, he quickly grows to realize all the French people, and to admire the strength and determination of the freedom fighters who risk death to protect him.
I really liked this book. My favorite part was when Henry was set out to survive in the wild and try to not get shot. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes WW2 facts.
