Mockingjay

Mockingjay is the third and final book in the Hunger Games trilogy. After escaping the arena for a second time, and not by winning, Katniss awakes on board a hovercraft that was hijacked by the rebels of District 13. Peeta was kidnapped by the Capitol and Wiress and Beetee are seriously injured. All is not well.

Katniss starts to assemble an army of rebels. The rebels of 13 convince her to become "the Mockingjay", the symbol of rebellion. she accepts under two conditions. All victor tributes are to be granted immunity, including Peeta.

Katniss sends out a rescue team to go retrieve Peeta from the Capitol. when they return, Peeta tries to strangle Katniss because he was brainwashed by the Capitol with Trackerjacker venom. Peeta is soon treated well enough to start training, with the help of his childhood friend, Delly.
