The book I read was Beastly by Alex Flinn. It is about what is on the inside that matters. I chose to read this book because my friend suggested it to me.
There was a boy named Kyle that was the most popular kid in school and asked a girl out to a dance. The girl turned out to be a witch and casted a spell on him to make him look disgustingly hideous. She told him the only way to break the curse was to find true love in 2 years. If he did not he would stay ugly forever. A guy broke into his house and gave him his daughter to spare his life. Kyle agreed and met his daughter, but realized she went to his school, but he had no care for her. They lived together for the remainder of his 2 years and fell slowly in love. On the last day of his time he got shot and she kissed him on the second he died and he came back to life as the handsome boy he once was.
I liked that this book was great and taught about internal beauty. I would reccomend this book to anyone.
