The Last Lecture

I just finished reading the book The Last Lecture By Randy Pausch Professor, Carnegie Mellon with Jeffery Zaslow. This book is about a guy who has tumors on his liver also has pancatic cancer. I choosed this book because it reminded me of my grandpa.
This book is about Randy Pausch a professor who is also a dad, husband, uncle, child, and, brother. He has tumors on his liver and pancratic cancer but is very opstimtic about it. The doctors gave him three to six mouths to live, so him and his family moved to Virgina to be by his wifes Jai's family when he does die. He has three kids Logan Chloe and Dylan. When they moved he was asked to go back to his collage where he teached at and give a speach. I'mnd Jai didn't know if it would be a good idea to, because he didn't want to take his time righting a speach/lecture and lose time with his family. He does decide that he will write a lecture, names it about his child hood and what his family did how they didnt have a ton of stuff and didn't waste money on stuff that is unneeded to have. Once he decided to do this he has to leave Jai on her last Birthday they will be together for, he had to go there two days before. Jai is going to be there the day he says his lecture so she can record it and when their kids are old enough they can watch it so they have something to see thier dad and know something about it . The reason why he named it the last lecture is because he knows it is the last time he will be able to do something like this again and talk in front of all his friends, family and former students.
Two things I liked about this book is that it reminds me of my past and my grandpa, also that is was inspiring and a good book. There wasn't anything i didn't like about this book. I would give this book a age group of 10-any age. I would recommend this book to my friends if they want a good book to read and a true life story. The kind of people would read this book is someone who wants to read a story that happened in real life and is insiring.
